The location is fantastic, so close to all historical sights like the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. My two sons had a blast exploring! The friendly cleaning lady and the receptionist.
My kids wished for a room with more space for our luggage and comfort. It was tight for the three of us!

SMALL HOTEL, LIKE A THREE STAR HOTEL IN SPAIN, GOOD LOCATION, ABOUT 15'WALK TO SULTANHAMET TOURIST AREA, THAT IF UPHILL. IN THE AREA THERE ARE MANY HOTELS THAT COULD BE BETTER, BASIC HOTEL TO SLEEP AND LITTLE MORE. NORMAL RECEPTION AND ATTENTION, SOME A LITTLE MORE FRIENDLY. IN THE STREET THE TRAMS PASS, WE ASKED FOR A QUIET ROOM AND THEY GAVE IT TO US IN THE 7TH FLOOR, AREA WITH SHOPS AND MANY RTES. AND WALKED TO A 10'DE STATION TRAIN SIRKECI. AND GALATA BRIDGE.
THE SMALL ROOM FOR THREE ADULTS, THE SMALL CLOSET FOR LONG STAY, HARDLY ANY ROOM TO MOVE. EITHER THE WALLS WERE TOO THIN OR THE NEIGHBORS WERE TALKING TOO LOUD, YOU COULD HEAR THEM EVERY FEW SECONDS. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, BUT MONOTONOUS, THEY DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE FIVE DAYS. CLEANING WELL

Request a room away from the street to avoid noise, particularly if you're a light sleeper.

This hotel was perfect, it provided excellent service, and the rooms were brand-new. In my case they offered Wheelchair Accessible room with view of the Bosphorus, "french balcony" and double standard bed and that was great...

I'll start from the beginning. We got to the hotel on our own - everybody took the metro to the final station of Yenekapi at the airport, then immediately moved to the marble and passed one stop to Serkeji station and in a few minutes we were at the hotel. They were placed on the 7th floor with a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus in 5 minutes. Breakfast as if by me - great (eggs, cheeses, sausages, sausages, fruit, vegetables, sweets, buns, dried fruits... I can't count it all). And everything is delicious. The location is also super - everything is within walking distance of Topkapa, Ala Sofia, Blue Mosque, Sulimaniye. The hotel is quiet, nobody interferes with anyone and nobody can be heard. The other guests were only seen at breakfast. From a small minus I can only point out a small shower cubicle and a hair dryer, which warmed up and shut down after every minute. But to be honest, this minus is written only for information that people understood, because the other pluses very and very overshadowed these "minuses. If we come again to Istanbul (and I think we will, because three days for such a city was not enough), then I will definitely stay in this hotel. See you later, Istanbul and of course Orient Express!!!!!!

You asked, I answered
A good stay with a fantastic location! Most tourist sites were just a short stroll away. Our cozy room was well-furnished, and we particularly enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast offering a variety of local dishes. A relaxing dip in the pool provided the perfect end to our day. Staff assistance was commendable, we felt at home.

We stayed with two kids at orient, and our stay was excellent, the staff, services everything was perfect. They also cooperated a lot and changed my room and offered me a big room at same price for my family. Also they guided us in detail where to visit. Breakfast was similar to five star hotel, infact the best I get in my whole trip. I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Sultan Ahmet.

The staff were extreemly friendly, helpful and fast. The location of hotel is perfect for shopping as well as sightseeing tours. The food is fabulous and you should all try the roof terrace restaurant and Pacazade restaurant. They offer a 7 stars level cuisine. The rooms are very clean. The reception can arrange for you all different types of tours so that you will see all different attractions in Istanbul and never feel that you missed anything.
Rooms are really small, and should have more options for cable english channels with an lcd.

The tram noise was initially bothersome, but the welcoming staff and delicious breakfast made our stay good. The cozy atmosphere and easy access to attractions enhanced our experience in Istanbul.

Everything as always is good, we have been in this hotel 4 times already, on arrival we gave a welcome drink, we have settled on the 6th floor (ask for the high floor). Breakfasts are normal, don't expect any special delights, but you won't stay hungry... For those arriving late at Sabihi airport, how to get to the hotel - take bus e10 or e11 to Kadikey, and then go not to Eminenya pier (in the afternoon it is convenient to this pier), but by ferry to Karakey (ferries run until 1 am) and from there on foot on Galata bridge or by T1 tram to Sirkeji stop.

The most outstanding thing about the hotel was the very friendly and helpful staff. It was really well located for seeing all the sites and although on a fairly main road which the trams ran down it was very quiet at night. Rooms were very comfortable, although quite traditional in decor, with attention to detail in terms of having everything that you would need (incuding a pull out line above the bath which we could dry out swimming costumes on). Breakfast was more than adequate - cereals, meats / cheeses / breads & pastries plus a hot selection.
My only complaint is that the hotel bar was rather lacking in atmosphere

Location (near: railway station "Sirkeji" and tram stop of the same name, exchangers, cafes, dining rooms, restaurants, pastry shops, souvenir shops, small supermarkets; about 5 minutes walk there are - the embankment "Eminenyu", park "Gulhane", Sultanahmed Square, Tank "Basilica" and many other attractions). Staff (friendly and, at the same time, not intrusive, settled a few hours earlier). Cleanliness (both in hotel and room). Silence and quietness (our windows overlook the yard). Elevator (surprised that the elevator has buttons with the inscription "Breakfast", "Lobby" and "Cafe" for the convenience of visitors). Breakfast (excellent choice of dishes: porridge, cakes, sausages, sausage, several kinds of cheese, etc. Before this hotel we lived for a few days in another quiet street (next to "Little Aya-Sofia"), where we never managed to get a good night's sleep (it was very noisy inside the hotel itself both in the morning and at night). it was in the "Orient Express Hotel" (despite the fact that the hotel is in a very busy and noisy place) slept a good night's sleep (and during the day was quiet and peaceful). It is a pity that it was only one night, I would like to stay longer in this beautiful hotel. Thank you for your comfort!!!
